G&B Investments, LLC. (G&B) specializes in property management and acquisitions and in the long-term management of its own multi-family buildings and single-family homes. The majority of the firm’s portfolio is in the Greater Los Angeles and Phoenix areas.
G&B prides itself on its commitment to providing quality service to our residents including fast response to any emergencies, fair rental practices and quality accommodations. The firm hires and retains personnel that are dedicated to the mission and long-term success of the company.
With typical transaction size of between five and 20 million dollars and the ability to close quickly, G&B occupies a niche within the real estate investment community. This has allowed the firm to quickly increase its holding over the past few years with the goal of reaching 2,000 doors within the next three years.
Our properties traditionally have low loan-to-value percentage even after the refinancing and purchasing of new buildings. Within two years, newly acquired properties are rehabbed and showing strong revenue growth. The growth in rents and increased building stability under G&B management allows the firm to generate significant value to its investors.
Meet Our Talented Team
Joel Gassman
​
Joel Gassman is Managing Director and co-head of G&B Investments, LLC, which he co-founded in 2017. Mr. Gassman brings over thiry-five years of real estate experience in everything from single family to large multi-unit apartment complexes. While at G&B, Mr. Gassman has supported the growth of the firm by managing the day-to-day operations including rehabilitated apartment buildings, maintaining high occupancy levels and developing the firm’s on-the-ground staff.

Prior to G&B, Mr. Gassman owned and managed all functions of a large Car Wash business with over 40 employees and a volume of 10,000 cars per month. The business and the land was sold to Amazon in 2015.
​
Mr. Gassman is a Southern California native with a degree from UCLA in Urban Planning and Development and a law degree from Western State University with an emphasis in Real Estate Law.
David Bental
​
David Bental is Managing Director and co-head of G&B Investments, LLC, which he co-founded in 2017. Mr. Bental has extensive experience in financial analysis of residential multi-family residences focusing on long-term return on invested capital while maintaining a conservative approach to investing. Mr. Bental has supported the growth of G&B over the past years by implementing a philosophy of investing which concentrates on discovering undervalued assets due to mismanagement or changing market conditions.

Before joining G&B, Mr. Bental was for three years Managing Director at Accenture specializing in the travel sector.
​
Previous to Accenture, Mr. Bental founded an aviation consulting firm and an aviation IT support company. The consulting company, SAPG, was sold to Accenture in 2017 while the IT company was sold to the world’s largest data company RELX in 2016.

Mr. Bental received a B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago.
Valeria Urquijo

Valeria Urquijo is G&B’s operational manager. With extensive experience in property management, Ms. Urquijo manages the day-to-day operations of the firm’s buildings in Phoenix. Responsibilities include:

In addition to her work, Ms. Urquijo leads a team of professionals that manage all the different buildings in G&Bs portfolio.

Mr. Urquijo is familiar with MRI, Sage and Appfolio.
Rudy Loredo
​
Mr. Loredo is G&Bs maintenance lead in Phoenix. Mr. Loredo brings over 15 years of experience in maintenance including extensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing and remodeling. Mr. Loredo leads a team of professionals that handles all aspects of both maintenance and rehabilitation of G&Bs properties.

Previous to G&B, Mr. Loredo was a supervisor for Max Properties and also a supervisor at Shelton Cook Residential.
